Several Arabic manuscripts of Bosnian orgin preserved in Priština

Abstract

The area of Kosovo is extremely rich with manuscripts in Arabic, Turkish and Persian. They are kept in various places. Only in the Alaudin medresa in Priština there are 126 manuscripts, and this paper discusses four of them. They were written in Arabic. Each of them has some conneetion with Bosnia, either the transcriber was from Bosnia or the manuscripts belonged to someone from Bosnia. The manuscripts were written in 805, 1031, 1174 and 1228, and their subject is the Science of sharia.
