The legacy of Ahmed Munib ef. Glođo, administrator and collector of the Gazi Husrev - bey's foundation

Abstract

The author publishs translations of three documents of the sheriatic court, concerning the property of Ahmed Munib-ef. Glođo. These documents were kept in the family archives of the Glođo’s and now they are in the Archives of Sarajevo. Ahmed Glođo was one of the richest man in Sarajevo. Among large property his big privat library is wel1known, and we have here the list of books from this library. Moreover Glođo is famous as the rebel against central power, so he died in exile the 27. July 1850. on the Crete, in the town Hanija.
