"Magmua" poet's šakir
Abstract
In this work it has been represented the contents of one "medžmua", collected by the poet Šakir, younger son of the sheik Sirrija Sikirić, founder of the nakshibendian teki on Oglavak near Kiseljak in Bosnia. That "medžmua" was kept in family Sikirić and since 1966. is placed in Oriental Institute in Sarajevo (No 4689).
It is the first time to write about "medžmua" as of cultural phenomenon taken over Turks from the East. Even today betwen Bosnian and Herzegovian Moslems exists the tradition of "medžmua". The owner of the "medžmua" tekes into it the literary and cultural subject-matters and notes different events and dates for which he considers to merit to be conserved.
The contents of "medžmua" depends on cultural level and taste of the collector. The remembrance of many events was preserved thanks to this cultural tradition. In this "medžmua" poet Šakir, besides other notes, has taken 170 short poems of different poets on Turkish, Serbocroat, Arabian or Persian language. Along with contents here are published only poems on Serbocroat language of the sheik Ilhami from Žepče (died 1822.) and sheik Sirrija from Oglavak near Kiseljak (died 1847.).
